Actually, a great many of left don’t agree with that sentiment or think that sentiment no longer applies, not since WW2.

    You haven’t? Some of them are quite open about calling soldiers murderers, tool of imperialism, and other such things. It goes all the way back to the ’60s when they called us baby burners.
